Space Ok is a new band from Hamburg. The style is influenced by jazz, ambient, psych and Kraut. The band calls it ‘Raumkraut-Music’. The compositions come alive through added improvisation. As Eric Dolphy said…”When you hear music, after it’s over it’s gone in the air. You can never capture it again.” 

 

The line-up with two guitars and drums may not be typical for a jazz band, but the attitude certainly is. An album is currently in the making and will be released this year.
